Q: Can I bring in candles?

We do not allow open flame. This meaning your candles must be in a glass container at all times.

Q: How long can my wedding day be booked for?

You have Graham Banquet Center the day of your wedding starting at 9AM until 12 Midnight. We do allow until 1PM to remove any items you've brought in or for your vendors to get there things removed.

Q: What time can I have my wedding?

At Graham Banquet Center you won't need to hire a wedding planner, or a day-of-coordinator. Our wedding planner has you covered and helps you by using our detailed time-line. Changes can be made to your liking. Ceremony times are 3PM, 3:30PM, 4PM or 4:30PM. Anytime later then that would put your dinner time later then 6PM-7PM. You may discuss your changes by email or in person at your consultation.

Q: What hotels re near Graham Banquet Center?

There are many quality hotels to choose from just 15 minutes from Graham Banquet Center and some of them will shuttle you and your guests. Shuttling service would be an additional cost and varies depending on the hotel. Keep in mind for fall weddings that are on MSU Home Game weekends the hotels will not allow you to room block.

Q: Is Graham Banquet Center handicap accessible?

Yes! Our chapel is the only building that has steps at the front door to enter, but has a side ramp your guests may use to enter the chapel safely. Bathrooms in the ballroom are also handicap accessible.

Q: I have a favorite beer and wine, can I serve these at my wedding?

We can serve your unique beer and wine at your wedding reception. Please alert Graham Banquet Center's wedding planner as soon as possible so we may order through our distributor.

Q: Can I bring in outside liquor, beer or wine?

Michigan State Law prohibits our facility to allow outside liquor, beer or wine and as such all alcoholic beverages served or consumed on the property must be supplied by Graham Banquet Center. This includes the parking lot and our entire property.

Q: Can I bring in an outside caterer?

When we opened our doors years ago, we allowed outside catering companies. We found that quality varied drastically between catering businesses. We also found that a quality meal is vital to a perfect wedding experience. How your place setting are set also is important and the knowledge of proper adequacy. To ensure a perfect wedding reception, we decided to hire the best team and do it ourselves. Our guests have raved about our food ever since.

Q: Must I use in-house vendors?

We have a fantastic preferred vendors list to make your selection very easy. The vendors on our list have been to our facility many times and are professionals in their field with great customer service. Example - When selecting a DJ, you need an MC. All our DJ's provide the most entertainment for you and your guests. You don't want someone to just announce you into the reception and then just play music the entire evening. If you choose to use an outside vendor, they may reference our Vendor Guidelines .
